Imagine the scene: 4 pm Christmas Eve. Preparing for the arrival of family for a busy Christmas Day. The largest glass pane in the house (2m x 2m) suddenly shatters. Impossible to fix in time? I called Alex at Brisbane City Glass. He and his dad Victor headed straight to my place on the Central Coast while his colleague Huss opened the factory and cut a new pane. By 9:30 that night the old shattered glass had been safely removed and the new pane had been installed! Extraordinary. Christmas Day went off without a hitch. Thanks Alex, Victor & Huss – truly above and beyond.
